In general the loading of programs and individual files
(eg one page WORD docs) is ridiculously slow. The Disk
Clean Up program hangs and won't run. I get
a "notification WND for RNAdmin" program not responding
when I shut down. The Task Manager works non-stop on 60
processes even when no programs are running. I can't
identify which processes are not needed. I have XP Pro on
a laptop with 1GB of Ram and 60GB hard drive which is
about 20% full. I ran Norton AntiVirus, AdAware and
Spybot and found nothing except a few cookies that I
deleted. I run defrag regularly, but the computer is too
slow to run it now.
I suspect that cache, etc needs to be cleared, but I
can't figure out how.
