My calendar events take up lots of space in outlook exchange that causes me
to frequently manually delete one by one of those calendar events. While
doing so, sometime it duplicates the entry instead of deleting causing even
increased task to clean up the calendar.

Is there an easier way to clean up / delete the old outlook calendar events
so to save up space in exchange server

You can use AutoArchive for this or manually delete the items. It's easier
to do this when you change your view to a table view like By Category.
