clean up mailbox

Hi,

When I use windows mail to check my web-mailbox it automaticly downloads my
messages into Windows mail so I can read them.
Perfect you might say but at the same time it cleans up my original
web-mailbox so there are no longer any messages left in my web-mailbox.
Now I can't check these mails any longer using webmail. (when I am on
another computer)

Can I use Windows mail just to check my original mailbox instead of taking
the messages out of the webmail-box.

Kind regards.

Hallo,

Groeten !

Go to tools menu>accounts>select the account>properties>advanced tab.
Select the option to leave a copy of messages on the server.

You need to do this on all machines that access the account, it is advisable
to set one of them to
remove messages from the server after a sensible number of days, (I use 21
days), or the online mailbox will fill and incoming mail will be bounced
back.
