Hi all, thanks for any help you can provide.

When using a pivot table, I some times filter out a specific entry by
un-checking the drop down menu on a row field. I have noticed that there is
data stored on this drop down lists that is no longer in the source data.

Lets say I have a row for my vendors: Jessie, Lue, Bob, John and Jose, at
some point I entered Jessie's name with only one s (Jesie) and it appear as
such in the chart, Jessie brought to my attention that her name had two "s"
and so I changed all of Jessies entrys with the correct spelling. I can still
see "Jesie" in the drop down list on the vendor column, even when it no
longer exists on the source data...

I made all this up just to explain the case, how ever the situation is the
same and it creates problems on the real data. Is there a way to clean out
the data on this drop down lists to show only the existing data on the source?

Cheers,
Juan
