Hi. We need to install Win XP over Win 2000 on several school computers. I
have read up on it online and know that I need to do a clean install of XP.
Could anyone please tell me the steps to do this or direct me to a web page
that would tell me how? Thanks!

Why do you *have* to do a clean installation?
Is it because you are putting Windows XP Home Edition?
Is it because you have an OEM copy of Windows XP?

Now is a great time to point you to one of the easiest ways to find
information on problems you may be having and solutions others have found:

Search using Google!
http://www.google.com/
(How-to: http://www.google.com/intl/en/help/basics.html )

Using nothing more than your subject for a search term...
http://www.google.com/search?q=Clean+Install+of+XP

The first hit is likely more detail than you would ever thought you needed:
http://michaelstevenstech.com/cleanxpinstall.html

Hope that helps.

Come back and comment - after all - this is archived indefinitely.
