I have 2 computers sitting side by side, one (3 years old)
with Windows 98, Explorer 6 and Norton Internet Security
2002 and one (6 months old) with Windows XP, Explorer 6
and Norton 2004. I am unable to connect to
classmates.com on the newer computer. I have tried
everything that Norton's support has guided me through.
I do not believe it is a Norton issue. I think it is in
XP or Explorer but I am stumped.

I am a school principal and pretty trained and
knowlegable about computers. Again, I am stumped.

Cookies? Password?

I'm stumped too. Shouldn't have any other problem at all that I can think
of.

Go to Privacy in IE Options>Toolbars>Privacy and click on Edit. See if you
have a list in here possibly with classmates. If not, try adding it with
"allow".

It may be a HOSTS file problem.
Look also for a file named HOSTS (no extension, could be hidden) rename it
OLDHOSTS.

Google search for classmates.com

containg adware or spyware. Some change a file in the
