Can someone clarify the current portion of the PL process. I read
http://www.pricelesswarehome.org/200...Procedures.php
but am not sure I understand.

Is the current task, until nominations start in October, for people to
post descriptions of programs that they feel should be considered for
nomination in October?

I ask since #1 on the page cited above is Nominations but from my
understanding of the rest of the page, there is actually a #0 that is
"descriptions" and it is going on now with people posting filled in
description forms (blank form at the bottom of the above cited page)
right now.

Is that right?

That's correct. It will help me a great deal if the programs you
*intend* to nominate are listed on the nominations page before
nominations open. It's difficult to add newly nominated programs to the
nominations list, check the descriptions etc. etc. etc. *and* track
nominations and seconds.

Last year "carryover" nominations were listed in the first nominations
post. It was easy to count the seconds for those programs. This year the
intention is to have a similar post for as many programs as possible -
to be used for both nominating and seconding.

As a special incentive to act *now* - I will do the descriptions if you
post the program names and URLs - this special offer ends soon. . .

: That's correct.

Perhaps the timetable at the top of the above cited page should be
updated to reflect the existence of the description phase of the
process.
