Keep getting the following error.
Feature Transfer Error
Feature: Default Feature
Component: Civ4Component
Files: D:\data2.cab
Error: incorrect function

This is on a Dell Dimension 3000 with Windows XP, an ATI graphics card,
DX9.0.

Any help will be greatly appreciated.

Thanks

Hi Jack Snyder,

Was this game working on your system before?
If so, what changes occured since then?

I'm getting an error like this when trying to install this game on Vista Home
Premium when I was able to install it on XP, the error is:

Feature transfer error

Feature: DefaultFeature
Component: Civ4Component
File:
Error: Access is denied.

That is exactly how it shows up.

And I have it set to run the this program as administrator and tried using
NT, 2000, and XP compatibility modes.

Any one have any ideas??

Got it installed and all I had to do was create a Firaxis Games folder in
Program Files.

In future, as you stated you are using Vista;
You should try running the game setup program as Administrator.
Right-click the setup file and choose appropriately.
