Citrix problem with registry size

Today while using Citrix to access my work desktop from home I am having
problems. Instead of connecting to my desktop I get an error message
suggesting my registry size needs to be increased. My help desk said to
google for directions on increasing registry size, but can't find an answer
for Vista.

Any ideas? I will have to stop telecommuting if I can't get this fixed!

I looked for this too. I might be missing something, but it doesn't look
like you can change the registry size in Vista. It seems kind of rediculous
if that's the case.

I don't know. Do you have a XP install CD?

If you do have one and have Vista Business, Enterprise or Ultimate, you can
get XP back on the machine and use XP, possibly. It's worth a shot or dual
boot between Vista and XP.

Hi SilviaLaura,

You don't manually increase the registry size, it resizes as needed. If I
had to guess, I'd say that the application being used is trying to write to
either the system32 folder or to a protected branch of the registry rather
than the user branch. Citrix lists their Vista compatible version as still
being in beta:
