I got a pop up box from time to time about the error of this executable.
I think after I had created a index catalog. But it still comes up even I
deleted the catalog.

Turn it off.
Windows XP may run slowly and you may see multiple symptoms in Windows
Task Manager

Perhaps you should uninstall it in Add/Remove?
