CIB error message

Every time I attempt to send an email in Outlook, a popup appears telling me
to "please wait while CIB is installed." Shortly thereafter another popup
appears telling me "the msi must be installed through setup." I click OK on
the error popup and Cancel on the install popup. This continues several
times until it stops. This is a recent development, and I cannot find any
kind of related msi or exe anywhere on my hard drive. I am assuming it is
related to another installed program. Anyone know what the heck this is?

Check COMs and Add Ins in Outlook. Check also in add/remove programs to see
if anything is listed there.

This would work if I understood it. What is a COM and what would I be looking
for in the add/remove programs? My dilema is identical to the post you have
here. Thanks for your help!
