I upgraded my video card to an ATI 9550. Everything looks good except video
playback is very choppy. I didn't have this problem with my old Nvidia
card. The movies I play are from my digital camera and they are QuickTime
..MOV files. I have tried several setting changes and I need to stop wasting
time experimenting. Can anyone direct me to some setting changes that might
help smooth out my movies again? I have downloaded and installed the latest
drivers and software from the ATI site and have reinstalled QuickTime. Any
other suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

You may have a codec issue..?

Use the above tool and drag the problem file to it to see if a codec is
needed..

Obtain a needed codec..

May need to check your video decoder too..?
