Choosing a server

I'm looking to move away from our NT PDC and BDC and put everything onto one
Win2k3 server.

Services:
- Domain controller (25 client machines, 25 users)
- IIS 6 (lots of scripting, 50K hits a month, might move to Apache on RH9)
- Exchange 2003

It won't be used as a file sharing device nor will it be used as a
workstation.

I'm looking for something with SCSI hard drives in RAID-1 configuration.
Dual processor would be nice but isn't necessary. I want a take backup
unit. We will probably get a UPS. I want to have spare parts that can
easily be swapped out in the event of an equipment failure (definitely the
case for hard drives and controllers). We have an equipment budget of about
$3k (flexible). We get a heavy discount on software, so it's not a part of
that $3k.

I've looked at the Proliant and PowerEdge but I'm not quite sold on either.
The PowerEdge we currently have (1300) kind of stinks as it has had
equipment failures on multiple ocassions (moreso than our OptiPlex that I
rigged as a server). What are your thoughts? Are there other entry level
servers out there that I'm ignoring? If I have a 99% Dell office is it
better to go with a Dell server even if the Proliant is a better machine?

I've always had to cut corners at every turn and this is the first time that
I've been presented with the opportunity to do things somewhat right.

Thanks!
