I recently had problems with my computer. I just got it to work where it
would boot up properly. I have verified I have no more virus or anything
else. The problem I have is when I start my computer it boots up into the
administrator profile every time. I have the administrator account and one
more account (craig) which I created with administrator rights. Both don't
have a password chosen right now. I have turned off the fast switching
option and turned off the welcome screen logon on option. I found these
under change the way a user logons on or off.

My question is where do I go to select which profile I want to start up. I
have log onto craig setup the icons etc. When I choose computer restart it
goes right to administrator. Why not craig since that was the last profile
it was in. Also it just starts right up and not promps me

Thanks,
Craig

Download Tweak UI from Microsoft
http://www.microsoft.com/windowsxp/d...powertoys.mspx

Then expand the Logon option and select Autologon and Check the Autologon
box.

OR

Start/Run and enter: CONTROL USERPASSWORDS2
On the User tab: pick (highlight) the account you want to automatically log
on
Then uncheck: Users must enter username and password
Next click Apply and enter the password (if the account you pick has a
password)
Finally click OK until your completely out
