When I press the Decline button for an invitation then my
outlook 2002 crashs immediately.

If you are seeing crashing, then there should be an event 1000 in your
application log. If you choose to send the message to Microsoft, then you
will see an event 1001. The 1001 event has a bucket number. What is that
number?
