I have a Windows 2000 Server that was having a hard drive or controller
problem so I ran a chkdsk c: /p and it got to about 75% and told me "The
volume appears to contain one or more unrecoverable problems." Where should
I go from here would I run the chkdsk c: /r now or will that do the same
thing and not help. Should I just copy all the data to another hard drive.
Please help this problem doesn't look good.

I do have this drive hooked up to a Promise Fastrak66 raid controller that is
mirrorring the 2 drives. Could this be because of a controller error.

While waiting for a response I ran a chkdsk on the 2 hard drives in splitting
them into 2 computers and they found no errors on the disk.

I'd download and run the manufacturer's diagnostic utilities.
