CHKDSK large volume

Hi there,
I must run chkdsk on a volume large about 6 TB!
the volume have about only 150 GB free space.

I want to know the trouble i'll meet for this chkdsk run
and i want to know if anybody use chkdsk on a large
volume..

I'm not sure if running chkdsk may cause any problems
about free space or another problems.

Anybody know the time for this chkdsk run?
Microsoft say chkdsk spend about a day for a volume large
only 70 GB!!!! and 6 TB????
