Each version of Windows XP is language specific. You cannot
change from one language version to another.
If you have a desktop computer, or a notebook computer that
will accept a second hard drive, you can install a second hard
drive and install the "Full English Version" of XP on it and end
up with a dual language boot configuration.
You can also purchase and use Partition Magic 8
(
www.powerquest.com) to create a new partition
for installing the English version of Windows XP.

| I live in a remte part of China and have just bought a
| new pc with windows xp. It's the Chinese version.
| That's ok for my partner (she's Chinese) but not me. Can
| I switch between the 2 languages, or is Chinese Windows
| XP a completely different program? If so, what's the
| best solution? 2 versions of XP with System Commander to
| switch between them?
| Does having bought one version of XP entile me to a free
| or discounted second version?
| Tks for any help, and regards,
| Alan.
