Hi,

I recently bought a computer with english vista. I managed to get the menus
and all the other o/s items to be in chinese. I install office xp chinese and
everything went well. However, there are some icons and text in outlook that
dont display the chinese characters. ie mail, inbox etc.

The drop down menus are all fine. what is the problem and how can i fix this ?

Office 2003 and Office 2007 are the only fully supported versions of Office to run in Vista, If you are using an unsupported version, the best advice is to try Detect and Repair.

Also make sure that you have Windows East Asian language support activated.
