My apologies for posting this here, I don't know where else to post it.

My friend and I wish to connect to each others computer so that we can play
chess together.
Is it possible without having to connect or join or log onto some game web
site so we can do this?

Mickey

With a game designed to do that... sure.

Or you sent the moves to each other via instant message/email. ;-)

If you guys are looking for an online game support try (www.chess.net) , if
not I would recommend IM/E-mail moves to each other.
