Hey all,

I'm developing a stand alone accounting application, and I would like
to offer an export to MS Excel. That part works great, but now I am
concerned that not all users of the product will have the same version
of office or possibly wont have office at all. I'd like to disable
the export in these cases. Does anyone have a good way of doing this?

Thanks!

Try doing a CreateObject on Excel and catch the error. If it exists, it
will work. If it doesn't, it won't.
