Is there a way in XP Home where I can find not only the amount of memory I
have installed, but the type? Like DDR SDRAM, speed (333-400), etc.
Any help appreciated

Not Really. Right Click on My Computer , Choose properties, and thats about
it. Then there is Virtual memory management in the same area under
performance.

You may be able to change some memory options directly in the BIOS Settings
depending on what kind of motherboard you have.

Just go to www.crucial.com and type in your make and model of computer. You'll
get all the info you need. For amount you now have in system tools--system
information-- you'll get amount--Assuming of course you have XP.

Thanks! I downloaded Aida and printed out the report. I'm going to
recommend this to others. Again, I really appreciate the help!
