When I went to drive c: and then to tools and wanted to do
a scan to see if there are any problems I got an message
when the copmuter rebooted.
Can not open volume for access.

Now every time I reboot the chceking file system keeps
coming up.
How do I stop this from happening and to run the Win XP
scan disk properly.
I do have Norton Utilities and have used this before
without any problems and now this is giving ne the problem.

Does anyone have a solution.

There is no fix for this problem yet, Microsoft is still researching this
bug.
