Well that's surprising, but it is the best newsgroup for this question.
Have you searched the posts in that newsgroup for similar? I suspect it has
been asked and answered several times. If it's been a few days you might
want to repost and start the subject with "Second Post - ......".
Just a tip, if you post to a group and don't get a reply you might want to
mention that if you repost to another group to avoid getting suggestions to
go in a circle.
Did you work through the suggestions in the link I gave you?
Note, unless you have a program that needs .Net Framework, it doesn't have
to be on the system for XP to run, even though windows update offers it.
The various versions of .Net Framework are only needed if a particular app
needs them.
