I have outlook 07
I want to have check spelling as I type enabled.

When I go to the options in spelling, it is checked… however that, and all
the other options in that group, are greyed out.

please advise.

Do you have Word and Outlook installed from the same Office Suite CD?

If Word and Outlook are not both from the same suite, some pf the proofing
tools are not available. I believe the option to check spelling as you type
of one of the missing tools.
