I have couple of users who are having problems using the Check Names facility
in Outlook 2002 (Win 2000). One the whole the Check Names works well for
them but when they are trying to mail a couple of users (using their exchange
alias) the check names function returns the incorrect name. AS the users
have no idea that the alias and the name do not match they are mailing
sensitive data to the wrong people. This doesn't happen with all mails tht
they send, only to a couple of people in the whole GAL.
On checking the Alias of the people that they meant to send to it was correct
for example: Alias=1234 check names returns Jackie Pool but it should have
returned Sue Evans
Sue Evans = 1234 and Jakie Pool = 6789 as exchange alias
Help - any ideas?
