It should even if the software is a few months old -- the "CPUID"
function in Everest reports what the CPU says it is not what the
software knows about it. For example on this computer the CPU reports:
Field Value
CPUID CPU Name Intel(R) Pentium(R) 4 CPU 3.00GHz
