Check if Folder contains deleted messages

Hi,

how can i check if a folder contains deleted messages?

I'm currently using a makro that purges deleted (IMAP) messages on
FolderSwitch, but most of the times there is nothing to do anyway. Despite
that, it seems that there is always a lag between folder switches. Now i
want to alter the code to check if there are deleted messages before trying
to delete them.
