I am using Norton Disk doctor for periodic disk check.
But this program always says can't fix problems becuse
file is in use.

Scheduled disk check runs at system reboot. check disk
hangs after runing for a few minutes.

Any insights? I have a primary dirve and a slave on the
same controller as well as a secondary drive with a
secondary slave.

What file does it say that is in use? Have you tried running chkdsk in safe
mode or recovery console?
