Cheapest way to buy XP Pro OEM

I'm preparing a quotation for 1000 PC based systems which need XP Pro
licences. What's the cheapest way to buy these licences? I don't need
CDROMs, manuals or anything like that. In fact I would like to build
these systems by cloning the hard drive containing XP Pro plus all of
my applications plus all of my content in a single operation. So I
just need the cheapest (legal) way of buying and installing licence
keys in these 1000 systems.

Thanks for your advice - Rowan

sometimes the cheap investment to
save in the short term ends up being
a costly in the long term.

here is a link with some expert info
on licensing and sales. there is also
a customer service link there
as well:

Have you contacted Microsoft? I'd think they may give you a decent
deal on a thousand licenses, plus you would have proof later on, if
needed, that they were genuine.

There are major vendors to corporations and other commercial ventures
that should be able to bid on the sale of a volume licensing kit for
1,000 computers. One that comes to mind is CDW with Insight as another.
