There are 8 and 16 Gig USB flash drives here at Novatech, for £12.31 and £22.94 respectively. Their stuff is usually pretty good.

There's a very good deal on the Sandisk Cruiser 16GB at Play.com for £15.99 inc delivery.

Or £9.99 inc delivery for the 8GB version.

Yes, how prices have dropped, from when I first bought a 128 mb drive.

I'm spoilt for choice now!

My last pen drive cost me £1.46 for a 2 GB.

My first one cost £30 for 128MB & now for that price you can get 16GB+.

The issue now is speed and durability. Some of the cheaper ones advertised don't seem to have information concerning reading and writing speeds.

Or are all flash drives basically the same?

Most are the same, but you pay more for a branded one.
I have gone in the past for Kingston, Lexar & Disgo.
But it may be a different brand you go for.
