hi i'm going crazy i cant work out why when i'm in a chat room it freezes up
the chat and locks up explorer i send the error message etc to microsoft and
as yet have had no reply or fix cany anyone help?

this also occurs when veiwing someones profile

i have tried many things but as yet i have had no luck
i have copied a freinds settings as he is running xp pro sp2 also
i'm at a loss

The first thing to establish would be what technologies the chat site uses
eg Java or Activex etc.
Ask one of the admins on the site, next time you're on.
