Time on the Y axis? Elapsed time, or running time of day? No matter.
You have two sets of X data, predicted and observed. Put them in a
worksheet in this left to right order: X1, X2, Y
Select the X1 data, hold Shift and select the Y data. Start the chart
wizard, select an XY Scatter chart in step 1. In step 2, click on the
Series tab. There should be one series in the list. Select is, and make
sure the X1 range is in the X values selection box, and the Y range is
in the Y values selection box. If the series name is from a cell, click
in the Name selection box, then select the cell with the mouse. Now
click Add and select the second series in the list. Click in the X
selection box and select the X2 range with the mouse. Click in the Y
selection box and select the Y range with the mouse. If the series name
is from a cell, click in the Name selection box, then select the cell
with the mouse. OK your way through the wizard, and your chart should
have the data plotted the way you want.
