If you want regular looking bars, you have to change the time scale axis
to a plain old category axis. Right click on the chart, select Options,
click on the Axes tab, and check Category for Category (X) Axis. Your
data points will be equally spaced now, not spaced according to elapsed
number of days, but the columns will not be skinny little twigs far apart.
