In PowerPoint 2007 I created a chart and want to modify the box the title was
created in to make it longer. The box seems to be doing an autofit, however
that option is turned off. I would rather make my title longer across the
top than have it wrap as it does automatically.

Hi,

The textboxes used by charts are not sizable in height or width, even if
the sizing handles would suggest they are.

If you want more control over a chart text element you will need to add
a textbox to the chart.

Cheers
Andy
