Hi
If there any way (possibly throught an add in?) to fit
data in a chart to a user defined equation and return
fitting parameters. So more options than linear, log etc.

A "hammer and tong" approach would be to use Solver to determine the
best fit parameters, then calculatate the predicted values and plot as a
separate series.

Without more details from you, it is difficult to be more precise.
