Are you referring to the .mswmm project file?

You can save in a movie format...wmv or .avi...
with the following steps.

To save as a .wmv movie file...
Type...Ctrl+P to open the Save Movie Wizard /
Choose...My Computer /
Next /
Enter a Name and a Save Location /
Next / Next.
Wait while the movie is saved /
Finish...

To save as an .avi movie file...
Type...Ctrl+P to open the Save Movie Wizard /
Choose...My Computer /
Next /
Enter a Name and a Save Location /
Next /
Show More Choices /
Other Settings /
Open the drop window and choose...DV-AVI /
Next /
Wait while the movie is saved /
Finish...

The MSMM file extension is only used in the STORYBOARD..you must use the SAVE
to MY COMPUTER Link to create a Compatible FILE such as DV-avi or WMV..but I
can tell you from experiance..Emailing movies is tricky..and time
consuming..a 4-minute Movie can take 30-minutes or more to EXPORT..try to
keep your Movie File under 5-MB's for quick results..and you must use a
WMV-file for EXPORT..or you might get away w/14-seconds.
