Hi -

I'm looking for someone who's successfully changed the
Windows XP SourcePath= setting in the registry to point to
a UNC path.

I've located a few technical article but they're slight
different - 323003 & 243072.

Also I thought I read somewhere that talked about deleting
the contents of the DLLCACHE folder when changing the
SourcePath=

Hello Stephan,
it should work to change the sourcepath to a unc path name. The path must
be one level lower than the i386 folder on the share. This however does
not work for Windows File Protection. Windows File Protections requires a
local drive to work properly.
