Hi,

Does anyone know hot to change the serial number of Windows XP proffesional
once it is installed. I've tried the instructions located here:

But they don't seem to work - changing the registry value has no effect and
it just goes back to it's previous value on the next reboot. Thanks.

If you have a "Full Version" of Windows XP
Professional, you could use the following utility
program to simply change the Product Key:

The Genuine Advantage Product Key Update Tool is only valid for
users attempting to change their current non-genuine Product Key
to a genuine Product Key - all without a reinstall!
