Changing a word doc e.g invoice into excel format

I have created an invoice in word but want to change it to excel is this
possible without redoing the entire template?

Word is a word processor, a tool to produce documents.
Excel is a spreadsheet, a tool to do calculations.

That's a bit like asking how to change a pair of pliers into a
hacksaw, I'm afraid!
