You did not answer my question. What "type" (format) are your movies.
Well, I looked it up and found out that Movie Maker creates MSWMM formats.
You can't convert a MSWMM. It is a container file. You must open the MSWMM
file with Windows Movie Maker THEN save as A WMV file. Then you can convert
it to whatever format you like. Make sure you have the latest updates
-http://www.microsoft.com/windowsxp/moviemaker/downloads/moviemaker2.asp
Goto: File> Open Project> Locate the WSWMM> Open Drag the clip/s onto the
storyboard line File> Save movie file> My Computer> Enter movie name & folder
to save to Check 'Other settings'> Any option you chose from the drop box
will save as a WMV except for "DV-AVI (PAL)" it will save as AVI
You can use any one of the hundreds of free programs available to convert
the wmv to avi, mpg, asf, divx, dvd, or whatever format you want.
You can do a Google search to convert AVI or WMV to MP3
