Yes, put in your Windows XP CD, the menu should pop up, then select
additional options, then click on File and Settings Transfer. It will
make a backup of all your files and settings. Now plug in the new
harddrive as the Master at the end of the IDE cable, plug in the old
harddrive as Slave in the middle. Now install XP on the new harddrive
and then use the same File and Settings Transfer Wizard to put your
files and settings back on your new installation
