I have been able to successfully post my website on my service provider's
server, but I want it on a different domain. It is located on
www.sover.net/~pouliot, I am trying to publish it to www.hoeorgsoltions.org,
but it wont work. Any advice?

If you are spelling it as you did in this post, that's your problem...
www.hoeorgsoltions.org should be www.homeorgsolutions.org ?????

And how long ago did you register the new domain name?

ahh, yes, i actually did try to publish the site to wwww.homeorgsolutions.org
several times (spelling it correctly), but it still did not work. It says
that I do not have an index file in place, although i most certainly do. i
have no idea what the problem could be.

How long ago did you register the name and engage the new host?
Takes a few days for it to go through the process.

i registered the domain name more than a month ago, so that should NOT be a
problem...

I'd contact Sovernet, I dont think they have FP extensions installed either.

If your domain name was not register with your host, you need to go back to place where you
registered the name and forward the domain to http://www.sover.net/~pouliot/.

You will not be able to publish to http://www.hoeorgsoltions.org with FP, only to
http://www.sover.net/~pouliot/ via FP's FTP mode, since the FP extensions do not appear to be
installed.
