Changing view for Attach Item

For the "Attach Item" dialogue box (to attach an e-mail message), how can I
change the view to a straight list rather than the messages being shown in
groups? (My Inbox set-up is NOT to "show in groups", by the "Attach Item"
dialogue box comes up that way anyway.)
