Hello everybody,

I'm completely new in XP Embedded. I fought the whole day with 2 thin
clients and it leaves me this problem:

For a project I have to configure the thinclient in a way the user is not
able to shut it down via the start menu. The problem is that I can't find the
way to remove the options "shutdown" and "restart". I have automatically
logon enabled so when the user choose the option "logoff" the thin cient
automatically logs on again. I assume the user will always see the option
"logoff? Or it's also possible to turn this option completely off? So the
only way to shutdown the thinclient is via the powerbutton....

Somebody a good suggestion??

Hello Mischa,

Here is a good place to start

http://www.windowsnetworking.com/kba...WindowsXP.html

You can map anything in Current_User to .Default and new users that are
created will get the settings you set here.

HTH,
Brad
