Hello everyone I have Windows Vista and windows mail in my computer. The
problem with my spell check is that it uses the US English dictionary, rather
than the UK English dictionary, which I prefer. For example for words such
as "prioritise" and "optimise" it marks them as wrong and tries to spell them
as "prioritize" and "optimize ". Could you please tell me how to change the
dictionary to English UK dictionary?

Windows Mail doesn't have a UK dictionary. However, you can have
UK spell checking if you upgrade to Windows Live Mail:

You can't but you can add words such as "colour" to the custom dictionary.
