Changing Title Tags in Template

I purchased a template from Frontpage template.com. It has major problems -
one being that you can't change the title tags on any templates. It works in
frontpage edit mode but when you ftp it to the server it doesn't work and you
get the message;
LeoMegaMenu.init() failed. Element ‘LeoMegaMenu1’ does not exist.

It seems to lose the style sheet and ddm.

I am using FrontPage 2002. Does anyone know how to fix this?

I have not used the FrontPage templates in awhile, but a lot of the special
things that FrontPage does also tends to rely on FrontPage Server Extensions
(FPSE). You mentioned that you FTPped the site. Usually, you have to
publish the site (File - Publish - http://www.example.com (replace with your
domain name) and not use FTP. Using FTP, the FrontPage Website will not get
some of the information -
http://www.loudexpressions.com/2007/...local-computer has a list of what requires FPSE.

You might need to contact your webhosting provider to enable FPSE on your
website. Sometimes FPSE can be installed from a control panel as well.

Thank you Corey... not sure that's the problem. I've been FTP'ing my site
with FrontPage for 7 years. The entire site works perfectly, until you try to
change the title tags. This only started when I purchased the FrontPage
template online. I will NEVER do that again. It's been a nightmare.

Perhaps it might not be that - but I am still not certain if you are relying
on FPSE.

Having said this, it looks like you might have a path issue - if you are
getting this error on the server - are you using any JavaScript? Is this
external JavaScript? If so, is the path to it correct? If it is JavaScript,
it might not have anything to do with FrontPage, but just the path.
