I need to change the target of My documents to a network drive as its
currently set to the profile path of the c drive. When I go to properties
and try to change the path there nothing happens. I have looked in the
registry but unsure if I should be changing my document folders in there.
Where do we change it?

There is no move button in the properties box. I tried to delete the entry
but it would not remove.

I ended up re-searching the registry and did a trial and error change of
things. I managed to change the location but going to the certain user key
for the person and going to software\microsoft\windows\current
version\explorer\user shell folders and changing the entry for the personal
setting. Logged off and back on and its now updated.

If you are in a domain environment you can use a group policy to
redirect the folder.

Alternatively you could try the following article:
http://www.microsoft.com/windowsxp/u...honeycutt.mspx
