Changing the Startup folder

Hello,

I work in a corporate environment and my Outlook 2003 is configured to
always start with the Journal, which then goes to an intranet page. This can
be very annoying (to say the least).

At one time I was able to disable this, so it just starts in my Inbox, but
it is no longer doing that. I tried several things including:
- Removing all add-ins
- Change the startup folder to Inbox, under Advanced options. (It will
initial go to the Inbox, but then switches to the Journal)
- Change the Home Page not to be the intranet page under the Journal
properties
- Startup outlook with the Safemode switch

Any other ideas to stop this forcing of opening to the Journal would be
appreciated.

Thank you.
