I believe you are talking about the touchpad on a laptop, yes? Go to the
Mouse Control Panel applet where you will find the settings for your
touchpad. You will see a place where you can check a box to reverse the
functions of the left/right buttons. Make your changes, Apply and OK
out.

Or, since you may not know what else your grandson did, you might try a
System Restore to before you let him use your computer.
Start>Programs>Accessories>System Tools>System Restore
"Restore my computer to an earlier time"

That is a very unusual keyboard. I have been working on computers for over
20 years and never seen one as you describe. Can you tell us the make and
model of your keyboard and maybe someone can help. It also appears the caps
lock has also malfunctioned.

I'm with Kerry on this. On all my very many keyboards (laptops and
desktops), I only have one long spacebar. None of my keyboards have any
"back" or "forward" bars on the spacebar, and none of them have a
"back" or "forward" button next to the spacebar. So yelling at us
because *you* haven't explained yourself clearly is a really stupid
thing to do. Now you're on your own.

Last bit of advice - do the System Restore like I told you or have a
knowledgeable friend/professional fix things for you. I'm out of here.

Eh ???? My keyboard only has ONE "spacebar" (but it
does have 4 ARROW keys). The typical spacebar does
not have any markings on it other than dirty thumb prints.
Only keyboard I have seen with two spacebars had been
hit by a frustrated user and broken. Is this one of those
"ergonomic" keyboards where the right side and left side
keys are at a different angle or something ??

<snipped and censored>

That attitude is likely to get you a lot of help. I see you got the caps
lock problem fixed.
